So carving pumpkins SUCKS! Ok maybe just cleaning up after it is all over. So I decided to pull out the potato heads and let the kids stick the pieces in their pumpkins. I think they actually liked that more.
Yes Ashley actually did this too her pumpkin. She never stops, she has to keep going until all the pieces are gone.
This was my pumpkin. I thought for sure Ashley was going to do the princess but as you see from above she just wanted to use all of the extra pieces.

Ashley's Birthday at the Pumpkin Patch
We had such a great time with our friends, Thank you all for coming and making Ashley's day special. We closed down the pumpkin patch. When Ashley told me during the summer time that she wanted to have her birthday at the Pumpkin Patch I was a little scared about the weather. October 28th has not been known to be too warm, but it was gorgeous.

Girls and Curlers
Ashley's First Field Trip
This is Ashley's 1st field trip. Her kindergarten class went to the Pumpkin Patch. It rained on us but the kids still had a great time. When we first got there we were greeted by the 4 farm dogs (if you can call 3 pugs "farm dogs"). We then went around and saw, pet, and feed the animals. There were rabbits, goats, llamas, cows, donkeys, chickens, and pigs(there were a lot of little pigglets as well).
We then went on a hay ride and passed cows that were all by themselves because they were getting ready to calf. We then went and helped the farmer call the cows in to feed them. There were lots of new baby calfs.
Then we went and played in the playground area. And of course Ashley with no fear found the highest places to jump from. She had a blast.

Megan's Baptism
Megan didn't want to take her picture before the baptism. She was too busy socializing with everyone there. Grandma Gaylene, David, Tina, Chris, Sheri, Gabi, Tyler, and Ryan all came down from Portland for Megans special day.
During the baptism OF Course we were waiting on the guys to change. We were listing to a beautiful song and I leaned over and told Megan "I am so proud of you" Megan replied "It's a commandment". I love how pure and innocent our children are.
It is hard to see but on the day of Megan's Baptism I remebered that she was given a hairclip when we went to the temple to be sealed as a family. So I went searching through some boxes in the attic and found the clip. Now I am just trying to figure out how I can incorporate the same clip into her wedding day (luckily I have LOTS of time).
We were talking about kissing people outside of our immediate family, and I was trying to explain to the kids they just need to give hugs. Megan corrected me and told me on her wedding day she could kiss her husband, YES.

Carson
My little boy can keep me laughing for hours. The other day in the car I said "When we get home I am going to make some grill cheese sandwiches for lunch" Carson said very seriously "No, I don't want girl cheese sandwich I want a boy cheese sandwich." This little boy is the most funniest kid I have meet (I may be biased).
